This site has been lovingly developed with the aim of providing a resource for anybody who is interested in sheepdogs, sheepdog training and how this aspect of country life works. Ultimately, I want to pass on my passion and understanding of the Border Collie breed.

I have worked with working Border Collies since 1982. Over the years I have bred and trained a number of highly successful sheepdogs both for farming and competition.
My passion and enthusiasm for the breed has seen me achieve success representing Scotland at both the International and World Sheepdog Trials. I made history in 1996 when I became the first and currently only woman to win the Supreme International Championship. I have also won both the supreme and the International Brace Championships.
Other achievements include winning the Scottish National Championship, the Scottish National Brace Championship, the Scottish National Driving Championship and the Champion of Champions Competition. Julie's Sheepdog scrapbook.
I provide training and demonstrations for individuals and groups both at home, nationally and Internationally.

I have recently introduced 'Winston & Porter's Nourish + C Max Strength Joint Supplement' to some of my ageing working dogs. Just after two weeks I noticed improvement to flexibility and movement in my dogs.
