Julie, along with experienced handler & sheepdog trainer Sarah Jenkins, host one or two sheepdog training clinics a year at either Carcant or Mayfield's Farm in Norfolk. 

 

These two or three day clinics offer morning and afternoon training sessions with your own sheepdog plus the  opportunity to watch and learn as other handlers take to the field.

 

Moreover, as Sarah and Julie have both spent many years working professionally with livestock, these clinics give you a chance to learn about the craft from a shepherding viewpoint. Developing "sheep sense" will help you appreciate why your dog & the flock behave the way they do. Being able to predict a sheep's response to a situation before it happens will, in turn, improve your ability to train and work with your dog. 

 

In addition, during the clinics Julie and Sarah often provide their popular educational demonstrations of "the Natural Way".
