How to get from Heriot to Carcant Farm. At Heriot, continue along the B709 towards Innerleithen. The road comes to a fork after approximately 3 miles, take the right fork over the weak bridge. Continue for a further 1½ miles until you drop down a small hill and come to a cream cottage on the right hand. The track to the farm is in front of the cottage & is signed Carcant. Drive along this track until you reach the kennels on the left hand side.
